Blackstone Valley Fishing Derby For Kids

The 5th Annual Youth Fishing Tournament from 8 AM - 1 PM on Sunday, May 15th will help celebrate Hopedale's 125th Birthday by offering an expanded area to fish in at the historic Hopedale Pond. This annual derby has become an eagerly anticipated event each year for youth, ages 3-14, who can win prizes in five categories. Registration is $15 which includes a bag of tackle, live bait, and a ticket to the cookout.

This event is co-sponsored by the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce (508-234-9090) and Fin and Feather Sports (508-529-3901) and registration forms can be found at www.bvfishingderby.org. Adults can also register for the tagged trout Derby going on until Oct 15th. The Derby Committee sends out a huge Thank You to all the support of our sponsors this year.

Anyone who pre-registers by May 7th will receive a FREE Derby T-Shirt and will be entered into a Drawing for a week of Outdoor Adventure clinics from Fin and Feather Sports. Prizes & Trophies will be awarded in 5 categories.
