Governor Deval Patrick to Speak at Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce Breakfast


Whitinsville, MA: Governor Deval Patrick is the featured speaker at the upcoming Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce Membership Breakfast being held at Pleasant Valley Country Club, 95 Armsby Road, Sutton, MA on Wednesday June 9th. Registration begins at 7:30 with the program beginning at 8 AM sharp.

June is traditionally a tourism themed breakfast with presenting sponsor this year being Southwick's Zoo and as Breakfast Greeters, members of the BVCC Tourism Association who will be promoting the upcoming Celtic Festival scheduled for July 17th. Also slated to address the attendees will be John H. Chafee Blackstone Valley Heritage Corridor Executive Director, Jan Rietsma, who will bring to light the Heritage Tourism Program, bikeway update, the recent fire at the proposed Visitor's Center and other issues affecting tourism and the quality of life in the Blackstone Valley.

"The Chamber is honored to have Governor Patrick at this important breakfast; he is a welcomed guest to the Valley, especially with all the initiatives that could bring about big changes and improvements to our Valley," stated Jeannie Hebert, President and CEO of the BVCC.
