Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce Announces First Annual Blackstone Valley Healthy Living Expo

Whitinsville, MA: The Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce will host the First Annual Blackstone Valley Healthy Living Expo, on Saturday, September 18th 10 AM to 4 PM at Blackstone Valley Technical High School, Upton. "The Chamber is very excited to host this event, especially during these times when the public is so focused on maintaining good health practices," stated Chamber President, Jeannie Hebert. "The Valley is filled with large and small health related businesses and this will be the perfect forum to showcase the services they can provide to the people of the Blackstone Valley and beyond."

The BV Healthy Living Expo will spotlight all things pertaining to health for all family members:

• diet and exercise
• conventional and holistic practices
• maintaining healthy living at any age
• healthcare options for the sandwich generation
• answering your health insurance questions
• how to choose a health insurance plan
• good health for all family members including your pets

In addition there will be numerous demonstrations and workshops. Presenting sponsor, Milford Regional Hospital will highlight the many specialized services provided to the people of the Valley. Meet "Always Fresh, Always Healthy" celebrity chef, Shari Alexander, who will be cooking up some delicious and nutritious recipes to sample. Learn to play Wii Fit with the big screen gang from Best Buy, test your skills in the "Let's Spin!" spin bike corner provided by the Whitin Community Center and be sure to bring the kids and their best stuffed animal friend for the Teddy Bear Clinic and the many other family friendly features.
