OK, you've got pictures in your new digital camera, now what? Learn how to download, resize, print, store and post those images. Hands-on, interactive workshop, limit 6.

Requirements:

Camera, download cords, manual, laptop. If using our laptop, you'll need a memory stick to copy images.

Learn how to:

• Download your images and video to your computer
• Set up a logical naming and storing system
• Resize for print, web and email
• Post and upload images
• Print and web resolution requirements

Multimedia Slideshow Workshop

Wednesday, July 21st, 6-9pm, 67 Island Rd., Douglas
$60 per person

Next step is showing off those images! Learn how to put together a simple multimedia slideshow complete with video clips and audio.

Requirements:

ProShow Gold - download free trial or purchase through Photodex - $69.95 (PC only) - If you want to use another slideshow program, we cannot guarantee we will be familiar with it. ProShow is the slideshow program predominantly used by photographers.

Laptop with program loaded. We have two laptops with the program that can be used but you should have it on your home computer to continue to use it.

To work with video, you will need a program such as Quick Time Player. This is a reasonably priced at $29.99.

Learn how to:

• Basics of ProShow Gold - the program we will use
• Create a quick basic show using your images
• How to separate audio from your video clip and 'tie' it to still images
• Special effects
