Milford Federal Savings and Loan Association elects Thomas C. Delfanti to its Board of Directors
MILFORD, MA (April 8, 2011) — Milford Federal Savings and Loan Association is pleased to announce the election of Thomas C. Delfanti to its Board of Directors. "As a lifelong resident of Milford and well-respected Whitinsville business owner, Mr. Delfanti has a sound understanding of the towns in which we do business and brings an expertise in strategic management and business development," said Cynthia A. Casey, President and CEO. "He will no doubt prove to be a valuable addition to Milford Federal, and we are very pleased to welcome him to our Board of Directors."
Delfanti is Owner and Sole Proprietor of Whitinsville Monumental Works in Whitinsville, MA - a family owned and operated business since 1945. As head of the company for the past 30 years, he has succeeded in expanding the business and enhancing its reputation through strong leadership and an expertise in sales, marketing and business development.
Delfanti is a former Physical Education Teacher and Coach within the Milford Public Schools; was a member of Milford's American Legion Baseball 2-time State Championship Winning Team (1970-1972); and had been inducted into the Milford High School Hall of Fame. Currently a member of the New England Monument Association and the First Congregational Church of Milford, Delfanti holds a BS in education from Springfield College. He resides in Milford with his wife Susan and they have two sons, Mark and Michael.
