REFERRAL GROUP
About the Program
Enrollment for the Referral Group is offered throughout the year depending on available space. Meetings start promptly at 7:30 a.m. on the second and fourth Thursday of each month.
Meetings are held at the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce Conference Room, 110 Church Street, Whitinsville. Parking on the street or in the rear of the building.
Fee to join the BVCC Referral Group is discounted to $95 for the first year. Subsequent years will be $150. Fees are non-refundable. To register for the Referral Group, download and submit the Referral Group Registration form.
Referral Group members are allowed a total of 3 absences per year. Group members may send a replacement from outside the group for up to an additional 3 meetings per year; the replacement may do the one-minute commercial for the group member, or for himself or herself, if their business is in a non-competing category with any current Referral group member, whether or not in attendance for that particular meeting.
It is recommended that we form a membership group of 3-4 people to make decisions on new people coming into the group - to make sure there is no overlap of categories.
Applications must be made and presented to the group for O. K.
References must be checked.
It is recommended that members of the Referral Group meet one-on-one with members of the group to get to know them so that each one of the group is comfortable recommending the members to others.
