1st Annual Walk through Southwick's Zoo Benefit
On Sunday morning, June 12th the Blackstone Valley Education Foundation held its 1st Annual "Walk through Southwick's Zoo". Special thank you to those who braved the weather and participated in this unique experience to watch the animals be particularly active! Participants were greeted with goodie bags provided by Goretti's Supermarket, t-shirts and a special live animal presentation given by Betsey Brewer, the Founder & CEO of Earth, Ltd. Thanks to the generosity of Southwick's; ALL proceeds donated will benefit the Blackstone Valley Education Foundation and its mission to "Enrich Education & Strengthen Leadership" throughout the Blackstone Valley and its school districts. The Blackstone Valley Education Foundation convenes, collaborates with and connects people, ideas and programs that promote workforce development, engaging community practices, and tend to the personal and economic development of its residents.
