Charter Business Offer for Chamber Members

HOW CAN WE HELP YOU AS MEMBER?

The Blackstone Valley Education Foundation is now awarding up to $10,000 in grants to Member Schools and their Teachers.

For the 2011-2012 Grants to Teachers, a little over $9,000 was awarded to the member schools of the Blackstone Valley Education Foundation for grants that support the development of 21st century work and learning skills among our students. This spring we just received requests from 10 member schools with requests close to $43,500. Many thanks to the businesses and individuals who contribute to the Foundation and who participate in the Annual Golf Tournament, and particularly of the Lampin Corporation in Uxbridge for their generosity and consideration for a stronger community of learners.

The Blackstone Valley Education Foundation invites public and private member schools throughout the Blackstone Valley region to submit proposals to its annual grant program that is kicked off every January with applications due in mid-May.

Grants in any amount up to $10,000 are available to those teachers and staff among the member school districts who wish to propose innovative programming that connects schools and students to business and community efforts and that instill skills for 21st century careers.
