Annual Blackstone Valley Regional Career Fair

The Blackstone Valley Education Foundation will once again sponsor an annual Career Fair for over 900 Blackstone Valley high school sophomores at the Northbridge High School on Thursday, April 7th from 8:30 - 11:45am.

Over the course of the morning, students will have the opportunity to talk with career representatives about their jobs and other positions available in the company, the education and training needed, salary ranges, and the outlook for the future.

Students use a career interest survey to help them identify their own areas of skill and interest. The results of that inventory will be used to direct them to the 16 career clusters that will be arranged in the Field House. Each cluster will have several jobs represented to demonstrate the range of opportunities within a career area.

Additionally, students will hear from business people representing careers in Finance, Health, Communications and the Arts, including advice from College advising staff about habits they can develop now that can cement their success in higher education or a career.

If you would like to have your business represented at this FREE event, please contact Julie Salmon at 508-234-9090 x101 or jsalmon@blackstonevalley.org to reserve your table today!
